The pitcher, once they have reached their 1-day or 4-day maximum, can finish the batter and then needs to be removed from the game

  • Paper scorekeepers are to interrupt the game when a pitcher has reached the daily limit of 60 (13-14 years) or 75 (15-18); it is the responsibility of the head coach to track the 4-day cumulative totals of their pitchers
  • Cumulative pitch counts over four (4) consecutive days will also be subject to the pitch count maximums for each age group:

A League: maximum 60 pitches (July) and 70 pitches (August) over 4 consecutive days

AA League: maximum 60 pitches (July) and 70 pitches (August) over 4 consecutive days

AAA League: maximum 70 pitches (July) and 85 pitches (August) over 4 consecutive days

  • The penalty for a head coach who breaks the above pitching rules will be:
  • 1 game suspension for first infraction
  • 3 game suspension for second infraction

Indefinite suspension for third infraction pending a review by the league.
