Schedule of Events

  • Registration for the spring season:  Begins the beginning of December.
  • Spring Season Evaluations:  Spring evaluations are held at the beginning of February.
  • Draft Day & Spring Training: Players who participated in evaluations are drafted onto their respective teams for the upcoming season. The draft takes place mid February, and then we proceed with indoor spring training through March and April.
  • League Information Session and Team Meetings:  League Information Session with all players and parents is held annually at the beginning of the Spring Season to provide information related to the league.  Additionally on this day we also hold individual team meetings so that parents and players can meet their coaches in person, ask questions and get a general game plan for the season.
  • Pointstreak and Scorekeeping Training: Group sessions are held to teach parents how to do paper score keeping and electronic scorekeeping through Pointstreak. Paper scorekeeping is more advanced than little league, so training is provided for both paper and online scorekeeping with Pointstreak.
  • BRC Social: The annual BRC social is a fun event that is held every May to allow families to socialize, network and get to know your fellow BRC families. We run a silent auction fundraiser in conjunction with the social which also has an online component to it so friends and family can also bid on items.
  • Opening Day: The first weekend in May (weather dependent) is usually our official kickoff to the season where we host a BBQ, throw out the first pitch and introduce the new teams.
  • Pacific Northwest Regionals: Is held anywhere within the Pacific Northwest. Regionals take place in July and bring together the best teams from our region to complete for a berth in the Babe Ruth World Series.
  • Babe Ruth World Series:  The end goal for all travel teams to reach after winning respective regional tournaments to compete with other regions within Babe Ruth.
  • BRC Annual Awards Banquet: In October we hold an annual Dinner, Year End Wrap up and Awards Ceremony to celebrate the achievements from the spring season.
  • BRC AGM: Once per year we hold our Annual General Meeting to present financials and other association matters.
  • BRC Casino:  Fundraising Casino held at a variety of times throughout the year and is dependent on availability of casinos.
