Babe Ruth Calgary is run by a large number of fabulous volunteers. Each and every game we have parents running our scoreboards, working our online scoring system (Pointstreak), paper score keeping and also announcing at our games. Our Board of Directors is 100% volunteer based as is our subcommittee positions like fundraising, registration and team administration.

Our coaches, though most volunteer their time, are not "parent coaches". We do have some awesome parents who have volunteered to coach because it is their background, it's their passion, and it's in their blood! However, those coaches who are also parents, are affiliated with teams that their child isn't playing on.

It is these amazing volunteers that allow our league to not only exist, but to prosper and grow. There are all kinds of different volunteer opportunities available within the Babe Ruth organization from helping with the team scorekeeping duties to Team Administrators to Board of Directors, there are lots of options open to you!
