Opening Day Celebrations – this Saturday!!!

This Saturday is Opening Day Celebrations! Yes, it’s finally here!

Bring your toonies!!! Dunk Tank is $2 per turn, and if you dunk a coach, there will be sweet prizes (besides seeing a dunked coach, which kind of is a prize in itself for some…)

Proceeds will be going to Jumpstart, a charitable organization that provides grants to enable kids in financial need to participate in sport.

Bring more cash for snacks (and merch)!! You do get lunch, but what if you are hungry before, or after?  Fear not!! The 16u Premiers will be running a Snack Shack and also helping sell some BRC merchandise (see blurb below)

Bring your empties!! The 16u Premiers will collect your empties and take them away for you! (see blurb below).

Bring your smiles!! Our photographers will be roaming and taking pics.

Still a few spots for volunteers!  Sign Up HERE. If you find you can help out while you are there, please look for other volunteers and have them direct you to Lana who can deploy you where help is needed.  It takes a village, folks, to run a smooth Opening Day Celebrations.  Special shout-out to the 16u Premier Blues, who not only are running the Snack Shack, merch table, and bottle drive, but are also volunteering with waste collection duties during the event, AND playing a game at 4pm.  Thanks, 16u Premier Blues!!
